"Rose in Decay" - from Beauty in Decay Series
This is my second red rose in "Realism" that I am attempting. This is a fun challenge with all the different colors and textures in the petals that I am trying to recreate. I absolutely love painting flowers in decay. I almost find more beauty in withering stage than when the blooms are at their best. I just took to the canvas not knowing exactly how I want this to go. We shall see!
