

Painting in progress.
This is currently on my easel. All my paintings are based on images I have photographed my self. I take several shots until I feel I have captured the right look I am going for. I am currently very fascinated with having big flowers on canvas. I want it to feel very natural and look realistic but still very much a painting when up close. Hydrangeas are a new favorite flower. There are so may varieties of hydrangeas and I wan to paint them all! Maybe impossible to paint them a

Here is the two paintings "Endless Blue Summer" left, and "Some Like It Blue" on right. Both measure 36" x 36". They are very bright pieces ready to brighten up a special room. Progress images. "Some Like It Blue" - This 36" x 36" painting is from a picture I recently took. Flowers are all so fascinating to me.
