"Some Like It Blue" - This 36" x 36" painting is from a picture I recently took.
Flowers are all so fascinating to me. When I started painting them in large scales I started noticing how beautifully and wonderfully God has made each one. There are so many varieties of every kind of rose, hydrangea, etc. They may all seem the same but hey aren't. Each petal has it's own unique shape and color. They follow the same pattern but yet still unique. I find this so interesting because it's very similar to humans. All made the same but yet all shades, shapes, etc. Just my thoughts today.
Note: My lighting is no very good here. It's a night picture. For scale reference.
