Currently on my easel. I haven't titled her yet either. She is a 24" x 48" acrylic painting in progress. I am really in to abstract meets realism right now. I like merging the two with bright colors. This acrylic painting has very little brush work in it. I find that my favorite tool right now are old gift cards. This is my second red rose in "Realism" that I am attempting. This is a fun challenge with all the different colors and textures in the petals that I am trying to recreate. I absolutely love painting flowers in decay. I almost find more beauty in withering stage than when the blooms are at their best. I just took to the canvas not knowing exactly how I want this to go.
